8. Unfasten the cord that holds the lower edge of the backrest cover.
9. Remove the upholstery retaining batten at the bottom.
10. Pull the stiffening board out of the backrest upholstery.
11. Disconnect the airbag plug from the 29-pin connector under the seat. Release the cable by cutting the tie. Note the run of the cable under the seat,
so as to facilitate re-assembly.
12. Unfasten the rear part of the backrest cover, by unfastening the cover battens along the sides, and fold the cover away to the side.
