Sunroof / Moonroof Motor: Procedures

To remove

NOTE:  If the sunroof motor is malfunctioning, the hatch can be operated manually with a screwdriver.

Remove the interior lighting.

Remove the 2 retaining screws that secure the lighting console. Pull off the console, fastened with 2 clips at the rear edge

Remove the grounding point for the motor and the 3 retaining screws.

Lower the motor.

To fit

1

Fit the motor and tighten the three (3) retaining screws.

Fit the console for the interior lighting and tighten the 3 retaining screws.

3

Refit the interior lighting.
