1. Clean off gasket remains from the sealing surfaces.
2. Lubricate the new sealing ring with acid-free vasoline and position it in the protective sleeve 83 95 402 (KM-934-1).
3. Position the sealing ring protective sleeve and tool 83 95 402 (KM-934-2) onto the crankshaft. Press in the sealing ring with tool 83 95 402
(KM-454-2) until it is flush with the cylinder block.
4. Fit the Flywheel or driven plate. Use tool 83 95 402 as a backstop. Tightening torque: 45 Nm (33 lbf ft) + 30°.
