Evaporator Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

Removing

Remove the glove box.

Remove the side panel from the centre console.

Cars with airbags on passenger side:
Remove the knee guard.

Remove the floor air duct.

Remove the air duct to the panel side vents.

Cars with automatic transmission:

a

Detach the transmission control module from the bracket on the bulkhead and leave it hanging by the wiring.

b

Remove the bracket.

Unplug the cabling from the dashboard. Open the cable tie and move the cabling to the side.

Fold down the floor mat and remove the protective cover.

Remove the retaining bolts from the fan control (cars with ACC).

10

Remove the evaporator casing cover. The cover must be screwed into position when fitting.

Unplug the connector and remove the anti-freeze sensor.
