5. Position the MacPherson strut on the car and tighten the three retaining nuts on the top mounting. Tighten the nuts alternately.

Tightening torque: 24 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).

6. Tighten the ball joint retaining nut.

Tightening torque: 75 Nm (55 ft. lbs.).

7. Tighten the nut securing the anti-roll bar to the link arm.

Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.4 ft. lbs.).

8. Refit the back plate and brake disc.

9. Check that the brake piston is pressed back in the cylinder. Fit the brake caliper to the steering swivel member (the screws threads should be sealed

using Loctite 242, part no. 749 6268).
Tightening torque: 110 Nm (81 ft. lbs.) 

10. Fit the wheel sensor.
11. Tighten the hub center-nut slightly.

WARNING:  A new hub center-nut should always be fitted if it has loosened as the clamping force of the lock embossing is reduced when
refitted. Use nut with top groove. 

12. Fit the wheel and tighten the five wheel bolts.

Tightening torque: 110 Nm (81 ft. lbs.) 

13. Lower the car and tighten the hub center-nut when all four wheels of the car are on the floor.

Tightening torque: 170 Nm +45° (126 ft. lbs. +45°) 

14. Tighten the nut at the top mounting. Fit the plastic cover over the nuts.

Tightening torque: 75 Nm (55 ft. lbs.) 

15. Pump the brake pedal to advance the brake pistons in the calipers.
