Xenon Headlamp Bulb, Replacing

HIGH TENSION
Xenon lamp actuators and ignition transformers generate voltages of over 23,000V. Such voltages can be lethal for persons with heart
problems or who have a pacemaker. Therefore, handle this system with great respect and turn off the ignition before touching any of the
parts in the system.

Read Safety and handling instructions, xenon headlamps before starting work.

To remove

1. Turn the ignition key to the LOCK position.
2. Remove the headlamp.
3. Remove the xenon lamp ballast.
4. AFL: Remove Headlamp control module (682).
5. Remove the xenon bulb:

Remove the protective cover (A).

Detach the connector housing (B).
