8. Lower and pull the propeller shaft away.
To fit
1. Raise the propeller shaft with the column jack and DT-49035 Holder, propeller shaft.
2. Check the circlip and O-ring on the front joint.
3. Lubricate the splines with 90 513 210 Universal paste and fit the front joint. Press it in by hand until the circlip engages.
4. Fit the mountings, in accordance with the earlier markings (A).
Tightening torque 20 Nm (14.7 ft. lbs.).
