1. Fit the brake caliper and plate shield, secure the bolts with Loctite 242 no. 74 96 268 and tighten with a torque wrench.

Tightening torque 80 Nm (59 ft. lbs.)

2. Connect the brake pipes.

Tightening torque 14 Nm (10 ft. lbs.)

3. Fit the brake pads, pins and retaining spring.
4. Remove the brake pedal clamp and bleed the system.
5. Fit the wheel and tighten the wheel bolts.

Tightening torque 110 Nm (88 ft. lbs.)

6. Lower the car and depress the brake pedal to press out the brake pistons. Adjust the brake fluid level.

To dismantle 
1. Remove the brake caliper.
2. Remove the brake pads.
3. Clean the hydraulic body.

4. Remove the dust caps.
5. Press out the brake piston by blowing compressed air through the hose connection.

WARNING:  Protect your eyes from fluid splashes. Mind your fingers when the brake piston is pressed on.

6. Remove the piston ring.
7. Check for damage due to wear.
