5. Undo the steering wheel centre nut but leave the nut on the outer threads and pull off the steering wheel to that point. Then remove the nut and
carefully lift off the steering wheel.
6. Slip the leads of the coil spring out and lift the steering wheel clear.
7. Remove the upper and lower steering column covers, 3 screws.
8. Undo the 2 screws securing the coil spring.
