The method describes the left side. Use the same method on the right side.

Removing

1. Remove the rear side trim.
2. Remove the relay panel.
3. Manoeuvre the soft top to half open position and position the soft top support special tool Soft top support(16) 82 93 144 so that the soft top does

not fall when the hydraulic pressure is released.

4. Remove the seal from the rear rail.

5. Remove the centre seal. Remove the rail and keep track of the clips.
6. Remove the stop lug in the second bow and use a plastic hammer to tap out the bow from the control linkage guide pin.
7. Drill out the rivets securing the elastic bands. Remove any burrs from the holes.
