To remove

Remove the front seat from the car.

Manual front seat: Remove the handle for height adjustment and the knob for backrest rake adjustment. use a screwdriver.

NOTE:  When removing the knob, note that the backrest recline spindle may be removed with the knob.

Remove the seat side panel, 2 caps and 3 screws. Lift the back of the side panel and pull it forwards.

NOTE:  Electrically adjustable seat:  The front bolt has a protector on its tip. Retain this protector as it must be fitted to the bolt to prevent it
from chafing against electrical wiring.

Electrically adjustable front seat: Unplug the connector from the switch unit and remove the memory buttons, if any.
