Bonnet-release Cable And Release Lever

To remove

NOTE:  To facilitate the installation of a new bonnet-release cable, it is suitable to route a new cable by means of the old cable when it is removed.

1. Open the bonnet and remove the mount for the bonnet-release cable by removing the clamp.

NOTE:  To open the bonnet in an emergency, use special tool part no. 8292963.

2. Remove the bonnet-release cable from the bonnet lock by first removing the bonnet lock spring from its attachment and then removing the cable

from the spring lock.

3. Remove the bonnet-release cable from the radiator member by the bulkhead.
4. Open the door on the driver's side.
