7. Fold down the front of the carpet.
8. Remove the release lever housing by removing the lock tabs with two small screwdrivers, one from above and the other from below, pulling

rearwards and outwards.

9. Pull out the bonnet-release cable along with the release lever housing (one unit) through the bulkhead.
