Brake Caliper: Service and Repair
Recondition

Hydraulic body, front, reconditioning

To dismantle 

1. Remove the hydraulic body.
2. Remove the brake pads.
3. Clean the hydraulic body.

4. Press out the brake piston by blowing compressed air through the hose connection.

WARNING:  Protect your eyes from fluid splashes. Mind your fingers when the brake piston is pressed. 

5. Remove the dust cap and piston seal.
6. Check for damage due to wear.
