Bleeding The Slave Cylinder

Removed gearbox is a required condition. If the gearbox is fitted in the car, see Bleeding the Hydraulic Clutch System In the Car.

1. Attach a clean 8 mm transparent plastic hose, approx. 450 mm long, to the delivery pipe connection on the slave cylinder.
2. Press the release bearing to the bottom once and then release it. The slave cylinder seat will remain at its inner position.
