Glove Box Lock

Glove Box Lock

To remove

1. Remove the glove box lid.
2. Place the lid on a covered workbench.
3. Drill holes with a 2 mm bit in a circle inside the marked circle on the back of the lid.

NOTE:  The drill must go only just through or else the lock mechanism may be damaged.

4. Cut carefully away the remaining goods.
5. Bend out the hooks securing the lock cylinder and press it out.
6. Remove the lock holder with a screwdriver.

To fit

Fit in reverse order.

NOTE:  Make sure the lock cylinder is in the correct position before pressing it on. Seal the drill hole with the plug included with the new lock cylinder
fitting kit. Use adhesive if necessary.
