Coolant: Service and Repair

Coolant (B235R B205L/R) 

Changing

1. Unscrew the drain plug and drain the coolant. Remove the expansion tank filler cap to speed this up.
2. Tighten the drain plug finger-tight.
3. Mix equal parts of Saab Original Coolant and water in a clean container.
4. Fill up and bleed the system as follows:

Note:  A/C and ACC must be OFF.

Fill the system to the MAX level. Fit the lid, start the engine and run it unloaded at varying engine speeds until the radiator fan starts.

Switch off the engine and top up as necessary to the MAX level.

5. Screw on the expansion tank cap.
