Solenoid Valve, EVAP Shut-Off: Service and Repair

Dismantling

Raise the car.

Detach the shut-off valve hose from the EVAP canister.

Lower the car slightly.

Clean (using compressed air is necessary) and remove the white cover over the shut-off valve.

Unplug the connector and lift the valve upwards.

Detach the hose connection from the valve.

Remove the valve.

To fit

1

Connect the valve to the hose. Make sure that the opening for the cable is correctly positioned.

Spray with kontakt 61 and plug in the connector.

Carefully lower the valve into the vent pipe.
