The end position switch consists of a cylinder housing (ground), a contact plate fitted on the cylinder housing end and a spring positioned on the piston.
The control module outputs B+ via a 1 kOhm resistor on pin 2 (switch upper position) and pin 16 (switch bottom position), and when the piston reaches
an end position, the spring fitted on the piston touches the contact plate and the cylinder housing, which results in grounding of the control module input
in question.

Switch In Soft Top Cover Cylinder

The soft top cover is operated with a hydraulic cylinder located on the right side in the luggage compartment. During operation, the control module must
know when the hydraulic piston is in its respective end positions lower/upper. Therefore, there is an end position switch in the hydraulic cylinder which
provides information to the control module when the soft top cover is in the upper position (open). The control module receives information of the soft
top cover bottom end position from two microswitches positioned in each of the soft top cover locks.
