1. Put in place the evaporator in the climate control unit. Lubricate the upper part of the evaporator with Vaseline if necessary. Fill with compressor

oil.

2. Fit new O-rings on the pipe connections at the evaporator. Lubricate the O-rings with synthetic vaseline.
3. Fit the expansion valve. There are adapter pipes with block from the evaporator out to the engine compartment.
4. Tighten the expansion valve retaining bolts alt. bolts securing the block.

Tightening torque:
Expansion valve 5 Nm (3.7 lbf ft)
Block 20 Nm (14.8 lbf ft)

5. Tighten the bolt in the engine compartment that secures the A/C pipes PAD-connection to the expansion valve alt. block.

Tightening torque:
Expansion valve S Nm (3.7 lbf ft)
Block 20 Nm (14.8 lbf ft)

6. Connect the anti-freeze sensor to the low-pressure pipe with clips.
