1. Fit the sensor. Lubricate the threads with vaseline (part no.30 20 271) or equivalent. Fit a new sealing washer as necessary. Spray the connector

with Kontakt 61 (part no.30 04 520) and connect it to the sensor.
Tightening torque 13 Nm (9.6 lbf ft)

2. Top up with coolant as necessary after fitting.

Start the engine. Make sure there are no leaks. Top up with coolant as necessary.
