Changing The Gear Lever Bearing Arrangement (Ball Socket And Ball Socket Ring) 

To remove 
1. Remove the gear lever as described in ->.

2. Remove the spring which tensions the ball socket ring and detach the ball socket ring by turning it anti-clockwise (bayonet fitting). Remove the

ball socket.

3. The gear-lever knob must be removed in order to detach the ball socket ring, see .

To fit 
1. Lubricate the bearing with Gleitmo 750, see ->.
