Safety Recall 710: Change of easy entry cable

Background
There is a risk that seats with the Easy Entry cable spring housing can break and release the fore/aft adjustment mechanism lock.

Cars affected
Saab 9-3 3-door M99 with manual seats and within VIN Serial No. Range: X2000001-X2031170 and not already completed

Saab 9-3 CV M99 with manual seats and within VIN Serial No. Range: X7000001 -X7024338 and not already completed

Owner Notification
As much as possible, owners of affected vehicles will be notified by Saab Cars USA, Inc.

A VIN Status List will be supplied to you prior to any owner notification. If you do not receive a Status List, this is an indication that no affected
vehicles have been sold to/by your dealership.

51 72 143 Kit containing easy entry cable and screw (For affected 9-3 CV up to VIN Serial No. X7020000 and all 9-3 3-door models, both the driver
and passenger front seats are manual and two kits are needed.)
