Replacing the thermo contact on the A/C compressor

Cars affected

Saab 9-3 M98-M03 with petrol engine and A/C system.

Background

The thermo contact is now available as a spare part.

Symptom description

No A/C compressor disengagement; no A/C compressor engagement.

Parts required
50 48 566 Thermo contact kit.

Procedure

To remove

1.

Remove the A/C compressor, see WIS 9-3 - M98- -8. Body - Heating and ventilation, A/C - Adjustment/Replacement - Compressor (petrol).
