The Trionic control module has a 70-pin connector and is located by the right-hand A-pillar. When removing the powertrain, the control module
connector and cable must be extracted through the bulkhead.

The control module contains a 32-bit processor that can perform 2 million calculations per second.

A number of sensors provide the control module with information that is processed using matrices stored in the control module after optimizing the
engine operation. Ignition timing, fuel and boost pressure are examples of these matrices.
