Run the cable so it is not resting against the intermediate shaft. It must not be taut either.

Secure the cable to the oil filler pipe with a new cable tie.

Cut off the loose end of the cable tie.

Stamping the campaign plate

Mark the campaign plate in box C3 after performing this procedure. Use a numeral "8" (Saab Special Tool P/N 02 97 713). If needed, order this special
tool directly from Kent-Moore at 1-800-345-2233.
