Procedure

Before proceeding, check box 85 of the modification identity plate. If the box is not marked, continue as follows.

All steps must be carried out.

*Perform steps 1-15 only.*

Remove the engine cover.

Cut off the cable tie securing the check valve to the valve cover.

Detach the vacuum hose from the valve cover and the throttle body.

Transfer the insulation sleeve from the old hose to the new.

Attach the new hose to the valve cover nipple and to the throttle body.

Important

The check valve should be turned so that the flow is directed from the valve cover to the throttle body, see the arrow on the check valve.
