Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair
Crankshaft Position Sensor - Trionic T5

The crankshaft position sensor is located at the flywheel end of the engine block.

To remove

Remove the engine cover.

Remove the turbo delivery pipe and plug the turbo delivery hose.

Free the sensor cable by unplugging the connector and removing the clips/cable ties.

IMPORTANT

Note the position of the cable.

Detach the cable.
 Unscrew the sensor retaining bolt and remove the sensor. Make a note of the position of the sealing ring.
