To fit

Re-fitting is done in the reverse order. First fit a new belt with belt tensioner and plug the connector in to the belt tensioner. Run a check using the
diagnostic tool as follows.

Switch the ignition on and connect the diagnostic tool to the diagnostic socket under the dashboard. Clear any diagnostic trouble codes that may be
present.

Turn the ignition off and on again. Wait at least 10 seconds with the ignition on.

Check whether a diagnostic trouble code is shown:

If a diagnostic trouble code is shown:
Carry out the relevant fault diagnosis as described under the respective DTC.

If no diagnostic trouble code is shown:
The installation is successful. Disconnect the diagnostic tool.

Tightening torques:
Retaining screws of the inertia reel. 45 Nm (33 lbf ft)
