Belt Reel With Tensioner, Front, CV

To remove

WARNING:

An airbag system that can include an integrated seat belt tensioner comes as standard on the Saab 9-3.

Work in accordance with the safety and handling instructions described in WIS - Airbag system - Technical description - Safety and
handling instructions.

The battery's ground cable must be removed before the positive cable. Wait for at least 1 minute after disconnecting the battery before
beginning any work on the airbag system. Otherwise the airbag may be deployed unintentionally and this can cause fatal/severe personal
injuries.

1. Turn the ignition key to LOCK. Remove the backrest cover.
2. Electric seat: Remove rear outer side cover.
3. Manual seat: Remove rear outer side cover.
4. Remove the rear lower cover.
5. Remove the head restraint and sleeves.
6. Remove the upper and lower trim strips from the seat. Fold the upholstery and padding back.

7. Remove the upper inner cover.
8. Remove the strap guide.
9. Cars with PPS: Remove the belt force sensor connector. Extract the connector.
