Drive Belt Tensioner: Service and Repair
Belt Tensioner, 4-cyl Petrol
To Remove
1. Take the weight of the engine with a jack.
2. Remove the power steering hose from the clip under the engine mounting.
3. Remove the engine mounting.
4. Relieve the tension of the belt tensioner with 83 95 254 Drawbar handle, hydraulic belt tensioner and lift off the belt.
Important: Be careful not to damage the belt tensioner at its end position!
