5. Make sure the battery always stands upright. Acid might otherwise leak out and cause injury or damage.
6. Never place tools or other objects on top of the battery.

Important points to bear in mind

NEVER:

-

disconnect the battery while the engine is running;

-

remove the generator while the battery is connected;

-

test-run the generator in the car or on a test bench without connecting the battery;

-

connect the battery with incorrect polarity. The car can sustain damage.

IMPORTANT:  When performing electric welding on the car, the battery connection to the car body and all the generator connections must be
disconnected to prevent electrical components from being damaged.
