7. Remove the MacPherson strut.
To Fit
1. Fit the MacPherson strut in place on the car and tighten the three bolts at the top attachment point. The smallest hole acts as a locating hole.
Tighten the bolts alternately.
Tightening torque: 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).
2. Tilt up the steering swivel member towards the MacPherson strut, press the steering swivel member inwards, push in the bolts and tighten the nuts
securing the steering swivel member to the MacPherson strut.
Tightening torque: 100 Nm + 90° (74 ft. lbs. + 90°)
