Lift in the 40% backrest and insert the pin into the backrest center hinge. Press down on the outer frame of the backrest until the catch locks.

NOTE: Check that the center seat belt runs in front of the spindle pins and backrest.

Reattach the upholstery hooks at the seat-belt mounting.

Fold back and lock the backrest, and fold down the seat cushions.

Rear seat backrest, 5D 

To remove

The 40% part of the backrest can be removed separately. This must be done before the 60% part can be removed.

Fold forward the rear seat cushions.

Fasten the rear seat belts on the belt holders on the C-pillars.

Fold forward the 40% backrest slightly and undo the upholstery clip.

Release the catch by the sill with a screwdriver and lift off the backrest (upwards).

Pull away the backrest from the hinge pin by the center joint and lift out the backrest.

Remove the center seat belt lower mounting.
