Fuse: Testing and Inspection
Checking Blade Fuses
The car's +12V power supply is fed to the various items of electrical equipment via three main fuse boards, one in the side of the dashboard by the
driver's door, one in the engine bay behind the battery and a Maxi fuse holder in the engine bay behind the main fuse box.
The fuses are of blade type and, together with their connecting sockets, give rise to a lower voltage drop than earlier types. They are also more resistant
to corrosion.

Checking Blade Fuses
Each blade fuse has test sockets which can be used to check whether it is intact without having to remove it. If both sockets are live, the fuse is
intact.
On a fuse that has been removed it is possible to see whether it has blown.
