Belt tongue lock (US/CA)

The front and rear passenger seat belts on cars for the US and CA markets are fitted with a belt tongue lock.

When using a child seat, the red catch on the side of the belt tongue should be moved to the "CHILD SEAT" position. In this position, the belt can be
tightened over the child seat and the strap locked in a taut position.
