1. Press the bush into the suspension arm using Press tools 89 96 78 KM-508-11, KM-508-3 and KM-508-4).

2. Position the steering swivel member's ball joint in the steering swivel member, insert the bolt securing the steering swivel member to the ball joint

and screw on the nut. Make sure that the bolt fits in the milled recess on the ball joint.

WARNING:  Make sure that the journal on the ball joint sticks up above the steering swivel member mounting.

3. Position the suspension arm against the subframe and insert the bolts in the front and rear attachment points.
4. The bolts securing the suspension arm to the subframe must be tightened when all four wheels of the car are on the floor but, depending on the

type of car lift, one of the following methods may be used instead:
-

Place a high-lift jack under the ball joint of the steering swivel member and jack it up until the suspension arm is 1° below the horizontal.

Place a stand or the like under the ball joint of the steering swivel member. Lower the car until the suspension arm is 1° below the horizontal. 
Tighten the bolts securing the suspension arms to the subframe.
Tightening torque 95 Nm (70 ft. lbs.).

5. Tighten the bolt securing the ball joint to the steering swivel member.

Tightening torque 95 Nm (70 ft. lbs.).

6. Remove the jack and fit the wheel.

Tightening torque 120 Nm (90 ft. lbs.).
Lower the car to the floor.

7. Tighten the bolts securing the suspension arms to the subframe if this has not already been done.

Tightening torque 95 Nm (70 ft. lbs.).

8. Check the toe-in and adjust if necessary, see Alignment.
