If the contact surfaces are damaged in any way, the connecting rod must be changed as an accurate fit cannot then be assured.
Clean the contact surfaces with compressed air.
7. Check that there are no impurities in the sump and clean the mating surfaces. Use suitable cleaner.
8. Seal all partition joints with part No. (10) 81 52 381.
