1. Position the high-pressure pipe on the subframe.
2. Remove the plugs. Replace the O-ring on the receiver connection, lubricating it with synthetic vaseline.
3. Screw on the PAD connection to the receiver.

Tightening torque: 8 Nm (6 lbf ft)

4. Press in the high-pressure pipe to the holder on the subframe.
5. Remove the plugs. Replace and lubricate the O-ring on the compressor connection with synthetic vaseline, part no. 30 15 286. Insert the bolt and

pipe.

6. Adjust the oil level in the compressor.
7. Mount the pipe on the compressor.

Tightening torque: 20 Nm (15 lbf ft)

8. Lower the car to the floor.
9. Evacuate the A/C system and refill with refrigerant.
