4. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
5. Read value Tank Contents. Adjust Tank offset to the correct value.
6. Activate the fuel gauge and check that the gauge reading is correct at all the "breakpoints". Adjust the breakpoints if necessary.
7. Clear the diagnostic trouble codes in all systems.

Perform a functional test.

Test OK?
YES The steps taken to rectify the fault were correct.
NO   Go to See: Saab Information Display (SID)/Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and General Diagnostics/Before Changing A

Alternative 2. Reading error at a certain level.
