Check the batch number on the left-hand steering swivel member. Clean if necessary.

Is the number 130391 or 130392, or is it illegible?

If YES

Replace the steering swivel member as per WIS - 9-5 - 2002 - 6. Steering assembly

Steering linkage - Adjustment - Replacement - Steering swivel member

If NO

Lower the car to the floor.

After carrying out the procedure, box C4 on the modification identity plate must be marked. Mark the box with the number "7" if the procedure was
carried out by the importer or with the number "8" if carried out by the dealer.
