The SID has an integral speaker to reproduce sound for various functions. The SID activates acoustic signals for its own functions and on request from
other systems connected to the bus.

The signals are assigned priority as follows:

Warning

Time alarm (SID 2 only)

Speed warning (SID 2 only, legal requirement ME)

Reminder (warning, key, parking lights and seat belt)

Confirmation (after pressing button)

-

Direction indicators (TICK TACK)

The SID comes in two versions, SID 1 and SID 2.

SID 1

The following function keys are used on SID 1 :

To increase/reduce clock setting, enter RDS time.

CLEAR

To clear the display message, zero the memory of this trip computer function and delete any service messages
