20. Attach the wire ends in the coils of the whimples. Make sure that the wires do not cross. Use the groove in the whimple's suction cup as a pulley to

get a good angle.

21. Crank with a lock handle so that the wire cuts through the glue joint. If necessary, use the protective tool with suction cups between the cutting

wires and the metal so that the wire does not cut the metal or the headlining. Move the whimple little by little to obtain a good angle. A transverse
angle with the wire cuts best. If necessary, use the second whimple as support. If the wire seems to be coming off, wait 10-15 seconds so that the
wire can work itself into the glue joint.

NOTE:  Use the protective tool with suction cups to ensure that the wire lies behind the attaching lug.

22. Lift off the window with the assistance of a co-worker.
23. Remove the cut guide pins and cut away the adhesive that is pressed down into the guide pin flanges.
