9. Unplug the electrical connection for the ignition discharge module.
10. Remove the banjo nipple for pump lubrication. Collect the oil that drains.
NOTE: When refitting, the position of the vacuum pump and axle in relation to the groove in the camshaft must be the same.
11. Remove the 3 retaining bolts holding the pump. Remove the pump, pull outwards.
