Evaporative Shut Valve: Service and Repair
EVAP Shut-Off Valve Hose

To remove

Remove the vent device.

Remove the shut-off valve and its hose clip from the hose.

Hold onto the cables to prevent them coming away with the hose and pull out the hose

Remove the quick-release coupling and the hose clip.

To fit

Apply a thin layer of acid-tree Vaseline to the end of the hose.

Insert the hose through the vent pipe until approx. 10 cm is remaining. Make sure the cables do no follow with

Fit the shut-off valve with cables and continue inserting the valve and the rest of the hose.
