Antenna/Dummy Antenna, Fixed (5D)

NOTE:  Cars as of model year 2001 and VIN 13047361 that lack the handsfree provision have a dummy antenna mounted on the roof. For more
information refer to telephone connection.

To remove

If you are unsure whether or not the car has the handsfree provision, check Shine a torch through the microphone grille. On cars prepared for handsfree,
a black microphone will be clearly visible behind the grill. On cars lacking such provision, there will be an empty space behind the grille.

1. Remove the parcel shelf.

2. Remove the rear roof moulding and unplug the connectors for the lighting.
3. Remove the D-pillar trim and the roof moulding over the rear side windows.
4. Remove the fasteners in the roof trim over the rear side windows and undo the top of both C-pillar trims.
5. Remove the two clips in the roof and carefully bend down the headlining.
