Canister Purge Control Valve: Service and Repair
EVAP Canister Purge Valve, V6
To remove
1. Unplug the quick-release coupling on the purge hose to the evaporative emission canister with 83 95 261 Tools, Fuel line, Press the guide inward.
2. Remove the purge valve from the bracket.
3. Carefully twist the purge valve and unplug the connector.
4. Remove the purge valve from the connecting hose.
To fit
NOTE: Spray the connector with Kontakt 61 contact cleaner, part No.30 04 520.
1. Connect the purge valve to the connecting hose.
2. Plug in the purge valve connector.
3. Fit the purge valve to the bracket.
4. Fit the quick-release coupling on the purge hose connected to the evaporative emission canister.
