Tightening torque 39 Nm (28.8 ft. lbs.)
7. Plug in the horn's connector and that of the audio system, if fitted.
8. Plug in the airbag's electrical connector at the rear.
9. Fit the airbag in the steering wheel, 2 screws and plugs.
10. Turn on the ignition and check the SRS system and control module with the diagnostic tool as follows:
Connect the diagnostic tool to the diagnostic socket under the dashboard. Delete any trouble codes.
Switch off the ignition and switch it on again. Wait at least 10 minutes with the ignition switched on.
Check whether a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is displayed:
If a diagnostic trouble code is displayed:
Carry out fault diagnosis in accordance with the directions given for each DTC.
If no diagnostic trouble code is displayed:
Fitting completed correctly. Disconnect the diagnostic tool.
