The following function keys are used on SID 2:

To increase/reduce clock setting, enter RDS time.

CLEAR

To clear the display message, zeroize the memory of the trip computer function and delete any service messages.

SET

To program trip computer functions.

Dot (-)

Scroll "down" and "reduce."

Arrow (+)

Scroll "up" and "increase."

NIGHT PANEL

Activate/deactivate Night Panel function.

The status of the function keys is sent as bus information.

Horn

Horn

The SID unit obtains information on the status of the horn switch from the steering wheel control.
Relay (68) for the horn is energized by the +30 circuit via fuse 3 in 342a. When the horn switch on the steering wheel is activated, the SID unit grounds
pin 11, whereupon the relay operates and the horn is activated.
The horn is also used to acknowledge "TSL" locking on the car. The SID unit obtains information via the bus from TWICE to activate the horn.
