Electronics or carburetor cleaner safe for use with oxygen sensors (see label for usage guidelines)

Procedure

Before proceeding, check box B5 of the modification identity plate. If the box is not marked, continue as follows.

M99-M00 with 4-cylinder engine within VIN Serial No. Ranges:

X3000001 - Y3015849

All steps must be carried out.

M00 with 4-cylinder engine within VIN Serial No. Ranges:

Y3015650 - Y3041906

Perform steps 1-15 only.

M00 Aero models within VIN Serial No. Ranges:

Y3000001 - Y3041906

Remove the engine cover.

Cut off the cable tie securing the check valve to the valve cover.

Detach the vacuum hose from the valve cover and the throttle body.

Transfer the insulation sleeve from the old hose to the new.
